From Caring to Creating
As a nurse, caring for others has always been at the core of what I do. Baking emerged as my creative outlet—a delightful way to bring comfort, joy, and a little sweetness into people's lives. This blend of two passions ultimately inspired me to open The Sweet Nurse.
The Sweet Nurse Name
The name The Sweet Nurse came about during a simple conversation with a fellow nurse. I was talking with her about how much I love baking and how happy it makes me to create something sweet for others.
She looked at me and said, “So now you’re The Sweet Nurse — caring for your patients and doing what you love.” And just like that, The Sweet Nurse was born. Being a nurse has always been about caring for people, bringing comfort, and making someone’s day a little better. Baking gives me that same feeling, just in a different way. Whether I’m caring for a patient or creating a special treat for someone, both come from the same place — my heart.
